Tugas 5: 10 sentences direct and indirect imperative sentences

A. Create 10 sentences directly in the form of an imperative then transformed into indirect sentences.
1. The police told me :” You must not drive without license.”
    The police told me that I wasn’t to drive without license.

2. He said to his friend, “Please lend me your rules!”
    He asked his friend to be kind enough to lend him his rules.

3. Mary said :” I was sick yesterday.”
    Mary told she had been sick the day before.

4. Our teacher said : “Be yourself!”
    Our teacher told us to be ourself.

5. Mother told John :”You must study harder if you want to pass the exam.”
    Mother told John that he had to study harder if he wanted to pass the exam.

6. Chika said:" Don’t open the window!"
    Chika warned me not to open the window.

7. He said to me: "Don’t ask her."
    He said to me that not to ask her.

8. She said to her son, “Study hard!”
    She advised her son to study hard.

9. The teacher told me: "Come in and sit down, please!"
    The teacher told me to come in and sit down.

10. Silmi said: "You must relax."
      Silmi said to me that i must relax.
